We, Cheryl & Bob, are a small husband wife team who share our private home, gardens & love of Africa with the public each summer season.
Frequently noted as a 'Hidden Gem', our customers enjoy a coffee, bite to eat, or even a beer or wine in our relaxing African themed gardens, with just the sounds of the African bush to quietly soothe your mind.
Our only advertising is by 'word of mouth & recommendations' as we aim to stay small & private.
With over 20+ years of experience travelling Africa by ourselves, we are happy to help assist if you have any thoughts of travelling there in the future.

NIGHT DINNERS Under The Stars
Available for groups of 6 - 8 guests, makes a very PRIVATE, INTIMATE & UNIQUE venue for just You and Your Friends.
Lit by the glow of the lanterns & the stars above, let the crackle of the fire and the sounds of the African Bush surround you, as we invite you to enjoy the magic of our African night dinners.
All dinners must be booked in advance, (preferably allowing 2 weeks,) by organising a dinner of your choice, for a night of your choice.
Pre-dinner nibbles, dessert & tea /coffee are all included in the price, with alcohol drinks available for purchase from our Karibu Bar.
Traditional Potjie
Come serve yourself from the BIG BLACK POTJIE POT that has been cooking slowly in the afternoon. Cape Malay (sweet) Currie, or the very traditional goat or Lamb Potjie full of flavoursome vegetables.
Learn some African culture & eat like the 'locals' with Chapati, rice & Kenyan Ugali, (a maize meal porridge eaten by indigenous all over Africa. Go back as often as you like, - like the venue tonight, it is ALL for YOU!! but leave a bit room for desert! $50.pp
Gourmet Braai
The difference between a Braai & an Aussie barbie is the way it's cooked. A Braai is cooked over open flames, which is what we aim to do, but, if fire bans or weather dictate no open flames, then it is nice to know that we can still enjoy the exotic tastes of different wild meats. Buffalo steaks, Boerewors, crocodile and a selection of Gourmet Game meat sausages. Team that with summer salads & a south African desert, MmMmm, no wonder it's a South African favourite!! $65.pp

WEEKDAY OPTIONS FOR GROUPS OF 10 - 30ppl.
By Pre-booking, Groups of 10 - 30 guests have Private use of the venue with a choice of Morning or afternoon DEVONSHIRE TEAS OR BBQ LUNCHEON.
Devonshire tea consists of Pots of Tea and Plunger coffee placed on the tables with Bobs freshly cooked warm SCONES, jam & cream. $10pp
BBQ Luncheons consist of 3 Meats, 2 Salads with basic tea & Coffee, Meats & Salads set out on separate Station Tables for Self Service. BBQ Luncheon $ 25pp.
A COLD DRINK, SELF SERVICE option, for extra $5pp is available when booked as a group. All you drink from self service dispensers.
